Today is a post about MY process.
MY process on how I connect with my clients from start to finish.
1. I get an initial inquiry to my inbox from a bride/groom (I smile and get excited to learn more about them)
2. We chat back and forth for a few times through email (I learn more about the couple and their needs and wants for their big day)
3. We sign the agreement online and a payment is made to reserve my photography services on their day (Woot!! I am beyond excited to work with such amazing couples)
4. I email the bride and groom a questionnaire and a surprise (I hope they love it!)
5. An engagement session is scheduled on a day that works for us all (This I love because I get to learn how the couple interacts with one another and they get comfortable with me and the camera which means that come wedding day. . . photos will be easier, more relaxed and fun!)
6. I get to the office and I cull through the images, I upload the images into Lightroom, I edit the images, I post a sneak peek on Facebook of the session, I export the images from Lightroom, I upload the images to the client gallery, I send and email with a link to the client to view and share the images from the session and I blog about our time spent together at the engagement session and then I back up all the image files! (Whew! That was long winded huh?)
5. We schedule a time to meet up and go over the questionnaire together if needed and talk about a timeline for THE big day (This helps ensure there will be light and time for all photos needed!)
6. A few more emails have been exchanged at this point with final questions or changes made to the day/timeline/details (I love when clients keep me in the loop so I have a better idea on what to expect and prepare for before arriving to the venue so I can better serve the couple and know how the day will go and also so I can help where needed!)
7. I arrive at your venue at the scheduled time to start capturing images of THE big day (It is here! Oh my gosh it is finally here and it will be a fantastic and beautiful day! Take a deep breathe!)
7. After sharing the wedding day together I get to the office and I cull through the images, I upload the images into Lightroom, I edit the images, I post a sneak peek on Facebook of the wedding day, I export the images from Lightroom, I upload the images to the client gallery, I send and email with a link to the clients so they can view and share the images from their wedding and I blog about our time spent together on the wedding day and then I back up all the image files! (Yes, this is a repeat of what happened after the engagement session and is all done within 3 weeks. Yes you read correctly; you get wedding images delivered within 3 weeks!!!!!!)
The above 7 steps are the basics to what happens with each client with our time together planning out THE big day!
I would love to hear your thoughts or if you have any questions!
