February 2024!

I love the month of February....why?  Why Not? It is best to love every month, week, day, hour and minute! Enjoy it all is my motto.

Because it is my anniversary month PLUS it is all about LOVE (Valentines Day) and all the PINK decor in the stores instantly puts a smile on my face.

Speaking of love and smiles on my face . . . Oh These Two!

They really are besties and it is so adorable to watch them run and play and even go on walks together, then once they are worn out they even take naps and give me the stare down if I get out the camera....hehe

December 2023 was absolutely a blast!

I loved all the gatherings with friends and family (personally and professionally) and date nights doing all things Christmas! Driving through neighborhoods looking at lights, going to the Pratt Brothers Christmas at Rawhide, hot cocoa and early morning walks with my dog and cat!

Now on to 2024!!!

Wow, how are we already here? This year has gone by so quickly.

This is my favorite time of year! 

I love to drive through neighborhoods and look at all the lights and holiday decor. It makes me so happy!

Monday Moments Of Me #261

Crossing things off my bucket list feels so good! I went on a cruise into Canada, Maine and New York in August. Absolutely a blast! I highly recommend cruising, it was nice not having to make my own itinerary, entertainment and figuring out where to eat, I felt spoiled! 

Seeing so many iconic landmarks was breathtaking and learning of the history was incredible too!

Where to next?

I am thinking maybe a European Cruise. Wanna come?

I just can not get over how these two get a long so well.  KitKat and Snickers play together daily and love on one another and take naps together every.single.day! It is so dang adorable! I am so happy they have a close bond as sisters. They definitely keep me smiling and entertained.

Monday Moments Of Me #259

I got to get out of my normal day to day and head to Chester West Virginia Mid July for a week!

My favorite part about this trip is visiting a good friend and state hopping!

It was a fantastic trip filled with sightseeing, visiting and shopping!

Dined in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and even found a Costco to check out!

The bridge in Ashtabula Ohio was a first for me to see! Incredible watching it raise and boats come through and then it closing again. Such a darling city too.

Walnut Beach (Lake Erie) was breathtaking! Spent the day relaxing next to the waves getting plenty of vitamin D. 

Walking the cute and quaint streets in Chester West Virginia is always calming and peaceful for me. As well as seeing the barges on the Ohio River while visiting the Chester City Overlook on my morning walks!

Antique Shopping in East Liverpool Ohio was checked off my bucket list!

I can not wait for the next trip to see what is in store!

Life in Perspective, July 2023 Edition.

When up in the rafters doing some deep cleaning...15 or 20 feet from the ground...

While using balance alone... Life quickly flashes before your eyes...

All I could think about is that I should not have been climbing a ladder and walking on beams 15 or 20 feet above the floor ALONE with no-one there just in case something was to happen... Once I pushed past these thoughts and got to work...how satisfying it was to get the beams and rafters clean and to know I did this scared, I finished, I conquered! I did it.

How grateful I am for my health, my vision, my hearing, my balance, my work opportunities, my family, my pets, for music, for food, for sunlight, for pushing past fear, for EVERYTHING. 

We are all stronger than we think, I am a firm believer in this!

It had been about 1 year!

Yes, 1 year since I had been camping....ok glamping now that I have an awesome travel trailer.

It was time.to.get.out and I did not care that it was going to be in the high 80's......

It is just what I needed. Beautiful views. Naps. Walks. No emails. No work. Just chilling with the furry critters....KitKat and Snickers. Perfection!

Now I am back and recharged! Nature is miraculous.

Well Hello April 2023!

This year is flying by! The weather has been crazy too....rain. heat...snow close to home....all the things!

March 17 St. Patrick's Day was always special in our house when I was a kid growing up...

My brothers name is Patrick so naturally this was a bonus celebration day for him :)

My mom would make green breakfast and even have decorations out!

It has been 2 years and 3 months since he left this earth.... it still hurts.

My parents,  my Aunt who was in town and I went to visit Patrick at his gravesite this St. Patricks Day.

I often "see" and "feel" his presence while at work where we often worked together at weddings.

Snickers had a BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

She turned 1 year old this past week.

She got to celebrate by going to a concert in the park, lunch, pet store and several walks.

SPOILED DOG!!!!

She's so cute though, she's worth it! It was the best day!

Although she no longer looks like a Snickers....more like a payday.....which is now her middle name hahaha ...... I still love her!

LUKE BRYAN!!!!!

One of my favorite Country Music Artists.

I got to go see him in concert on 2-1-23 in Las Vegas and it was AMAZING.

He put on such a great show, I was very impressed and keep watching all my cellphone video clips over and over!

It was the perfect anniversary getaway for me and the hubby!

*Some winning tickets on the casino floor

Monday Moments Of Me #252

Well, some days do not go as planned.

It was raining all day, I was doing errands getting ready for a long weekend of work...

I walk back to my car in the garage for the next set of errands and before I get in I hear a hissing......

$600 later and 2 new tires later. . . I was not happy.

BUT, I had a choice. I realized I always have a choice.

So, I changed my attitude and I CHOSE to be grateful this happened when I was close to home and had the time to deal with it and that my tire did not blow out on the freeway.

IT IS DECEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my favorite month of the year.

I visited Enchant at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale December 1 and I LOVED it!

So much fun seeing all the lights, going through the maze, getting a lemonade in a lit-up lightbulb cup, seeing the performers, sitting by the fire and taking too many photos!

I am so grateful for this year and all I have learned and to see what is in store for 2023!

It's the little things!

I love walking. I love the outdoors. I love animals.

Combine all those and I am happy as happy can be :)

My puppy (who is now 8 months) and I went for a walk at Riparian Preserve to scout locations for an upcoming family session.

We had a total blast and it was the small break in a busy week that I needed!

I was at the Scottsdale Quarter in Arizona for work and as I looked around the store Kittenish, I found a couple keychains that I just had to have!

This PINK sparkly cowboy hat is one of them! I am obsessed with it. Just looking at it makes me motivated to do more, be more and it makes me smile! I find it to be a fantastic investment in myself =)

I encourage you to do the same, find something that makes you smile just by looking at it and place it somewhere you see it when you wake up! It makes for a great way to start the day.

August Flew By!

Some great storms in this monsoon season and I loved all the rain.

I had 2 concerts to look forward to this month.

First was Lee Perreira at the Musical Instrument Museum.

-He was fantastic as always and put his whole heart into the performance as well as did the rest of his band!

Second was the Stadium Tour that had got rescheduled a few times over the past couple years.

It was great to finally be able to see all of these 4 play on the same stage at State Farm Stadium....

Highlight of my Summer of 2022

I got to visit Seattle!

My nephew was on a church Mission in the area and so my siblings and their families decided to surprise him as he got to come back home to AZ!

It was definitely a great trip.

We did all the touristy things and created so many memories!

Happy June!

I can not believe 2022 is already at its halfway mark!

After My Mixie Girl went to doggy heaven to run and be free of pain....the home was too quiet and too lonely. Something was missing and I could not take it.

So, KitKat (the cat) got a little sister named Snickers! It has been quite the adjustment for us all.

Snickers is a mini sheepadoodle and is the absolute cutest and sweetest puppy!

Mixie, my best 4 legged friend was set free on March 31, 2022.

I miss her every day. She had such a joyful and kind spirit that is greatly missed in the home.

She had an amazing life running through the sand at the dunes, camping, hiking, sleepovers at grandma and grandpa's house, going for multiple walks a day, cuddling with her kitty, going for car rides and playing tug of war, even visiting family in other states.

I truly am lucky to have had the best dog ever!
