These two met in 2013 while Joshua was stationed in Hawaii! Joshua's grandmother knew these two would make a great pair and made the introductions :)

While I was out shopping a few days ago. . . at one of my favorite stores, World Market I saw this bag. I liked it so much I took a picture but now I am regretting that I did not purchase it.

Matthew & Melissa's St. Luke's Lutheran Church Ceremony

This wedding ceremony was unforgettable! Instead of a sand ceremony or a unity candle...the first thing these two did as husband and wife was sing/play a duet together! Seems natural since they met being members of a band! It was breathtaking :)
The weather was perfect. The dress was perfect. The couple is perfect. Loved witnessing these two become husband and wife!

It is December you guys!!!!!!
My favorite month of all for many reasons.
One reason being it is time for drinking hot cocoa and driving around looking at Christmas lights :)
My friend knows this about me and bought me a new mug for this season.
I am in love. . . One eye open and one eye shut.
So meaningful in so many ways....since it is basically a coffee mug though we will say it is because it is early morning and I have not fully awakened ;)

So while over at the in laws house last night I was admiring everything in the curio cabinet. Pictures of all their kids/spouses, pictures of all the grand kids, collectibles, fragile items etc.
Then....something I had never seen before.
A Purple Heart.
It belongs to her father, my husbands grandpa.
At that moment I was flooded with gratitude. I am so grateful for this country and those who have served and are serving.
